As the Chinese saying goes， “Don’t forget the well-diggers when drink from the well”。 We appreciate your investment and work in Guizhou in the past years。 Because of your participation， Guizhou Province has created a GDP of 220 billion US dollars， with a growth rate of 9.1%， ranking first in the country for two consecutive years。 Because of your participation， Guizhou Province has built a comprehensive network of high-speed railway across the province， and mileage ranks top among all provinces in China and first in the western China。 Because of your participation， Guizhou now has a better eco-environment， and the revenue of culture industry and tourism is close to 150 billion US dollars。 More and more tourists now put Guizhou on their destination plan。 Because of your participation， Guizhou， as China‘s digital valley， is also booming。 The number of big data companies in this province has surpassed 10，000， and the digital economy has maintained the highest growth rate in the country。 Projects like Apple’s Data Center in Gui’an New area has caught the attention of the world。 Because of your participation， Guizhou’s investment capital for the first time in 2018 reached 1000 billion RMB（Appropriately 160 billion US dollars）。As it is testified by presence of 63 Fortune 500 businesses， Guizhou now enjoys much better business environment。

General Secretary Xi Jinping cares about the development of Guizhou。 His requires Guizhou to embark on a new development path that is different from the eastern part and other parts of western China。 He stresses that Guizhou should “Stick to the bottom lines of development and preserving eco-environment”， Guizhou’s development should be high-end， green， and compact。 Our focus will build industry clusters which values more than 100 billion RMB featured by advanced equipment manufacturing， basic material， quality tobacco and liquor， big data industry， electronics and information technology， health and pharmaceutical engineering。 We will foster five emerging industries such as modern logistics， big health and wellbeing， big data， software and information service， modern mountainous-featured efficient agriculture， cultural industry and tourism。 More efforts will be made to improve agricultural products such as vegetable and fruits， CTM plants growing， and forests products。
