The second session of the 13th Guizhou Provincial People's Congress will run from Jan 26 to 31, while the second session of the 12th Guizhou Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) will run from Jan 27 to 31.
About 597 deputies will attend the session of the Guizhou People's Congress to discuss the work reports of the Guizhou Provincial People's Government, the Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial People's Congress, the Guizhou Provincial High People's Court and the Guizhou Provincial People's Procuratorate.
The implementation of the plan for national economic and social development, as well as provincial budget performance, will be discussed and approved at the session. The draft of the 2019 plan and provincial budget will be approved by deputies.
The deputies will also discuss the establishment of a special committee for the session and elect members for said committee.
About 583 CPPCC members will attend the session of the Guizhou Provincial Committee of the CPPCC. They will discuss the work reports of the Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Committee of the CPPCC, elect members of the 12th Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Committee of the CPPCC and attend the session of the Guizhou People's Congress.
