The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) of China held the Sixth AOPA-China Fly-In air show in Huangping county, Guizhou province, from July 21 to 25.
Several renowned international aerobatic teams, including the Breitling Jet Team Sunward Aerobatic Team, joined the event and presented several flying stunt performances to the delight of thousands of spectators.
It is the second time that Huangping has held the event, with this year's event showcasing the aviation history of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
The county government wants to take advantage of the show to boost tourism and promote aviation knowledge among local students, according to Fan Aihong, Huangping county publicity official.
Thanks to last year's event, the number of tourists in Huangping and the county's tourism revenue doubled compared to 2015.
